Registration
The registration fee for participants is $200 per K9 team and $100 for observers. Cheques should be made payable to the Victoria Police K9 Unit (Seminar 2008).
Accomodations
The hotel for the seminar is the Sandman Hotel. Guests receive a discounted rate of $89 for a room with one queen size bed or two double beds. Dogs are permitted to stay in the room for an additional $10 per night. Members can walk their dogs at nearby parks.

Directions from Victoria airport:
1) Drive south on Electra Blvd for 100 meters
2) Electra Blvd veers left and becomes Willingdon Rd which then merges with Canora Rd
3) From Canora Rd, turn left onto McTavish Rd and drive 200 meters
4) Turn right onto Route 17 South (also known as the Patricia Bay highway).
5) Follow Route 17 South for 21 km
6) Turn right onto Cloverdale Ave and drive 200 meters
7) Turn left onto Douglas St (the Trans Canada Highway) and drive 0.8 km
8) End at The Sandman Hotel at 2852 Douglas Street (right side of the street)
Directions from Swartz Bay ferry terminal:
1) Follow Route 17 South (also known as the Patricia Bay highway) for 25 km
2) Turn right onto Cloverdale Ave and drive 200 meters
3) Turn left onto Douglas St (the Trans Canada Highway) and drive 0.8 km
4) End at The Sandman Hotel at 2852 Douglas Street (right side of the street)
Note that as a sponsor, BC Ferries is generously providing free vehicle and driver passes to and from Vancouver Island for the purpose of attending the seminar.
Please let us know if you would like to be picked up or dropped off at the airport or the ferry terminal. Volunteers with the Victoria Police Department will be assisting with transportation.
Rental Vehicles
Enterprise Rent-A-Car is offering a special rate to members attending the seminar. The rental agency is located approximately seven minutes off-site from the Victoria International Airport. The agency offers a free shuttle service to and from the airport. Participants are urged to book rental vehicles early to ensure availability.
