Use the Traffic Complaint form if:
- You are willing to attend court if the violator disputes the allegation
- You have witnessed a traffic offence within the city of Victoria
- You would like to report that offence to the Traffic Section for investigation
What information will I need to provide: the Traffic section will ask you to provide detailed information describing
- date, time and location of the offence
- the roads and weather, road conditions, occupants within the vehicle, signage and a description of the offence you witnessed
- description of the offending vehicle
- your contact information as a witness
- contact information for all other witnesses to the offence
The Traffic Section will:
- investigate your Traffic complaint
- provide follow up and investigation in the same manner as complaints received by telephone
- maintain confidentiality of all information submitted through the form
